REVIEW: Sink Your Teeth into the New Strawberry Stolen Teeth Tart from the Tribute Store at Universal Studios Florida
October is here and Universal Orlando Resort has officially kicked off their Halloween offerings, now available every day. The Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store at Universal Studios Florida has whipped up some special new treats to celebrate the two haunted houses, including the Stolen Teeth Tart in honor of Revenge of the Tooth Fairy. We love a good holiday treat, especially when it’s themed.
What happens when a child says no to the tooth fairy?
The Stolen Teeth Tart looks like a bloody mess, with two rows of ripped out teeth grinning up gruesomely. A light blood splattering on the teeth is the perfect touch to add that extra chill factor.
A thin strawberry glaze coats the top of the tart, hiding a layer of chocolate ganache and a fluffy strawberry whipped center. The teeth were excellent. They taste like white chocolate fondant, and were just slightly chewy. Every part of this treat was perfect.
Within the golden shell, the strawberry mousse is airy and fluffy. The buttery crust and light filling help balance out the sweet strawberry and rich chocolate flavors along the top. It’s a delicious dessert that isn’t too sugary, but will satisfy your sweet tooth, if you have any left after a visit to the tooth fairy.
The Stolen Teeth Tart is available for $5.49 from the Tribute Store at Universal Studios Florida. This snack unfortunately replaced the Lemon Mummy Tart, but this chocolate strawberry tart is an excellent new themed addition to the Halloween food offerings around the park. This dessert is not only delicious, but the perfect way to celebrate a trip through the Revenge of the Tooth Fairy haunted house. Will you be trying this terrifying new treat on your next visit to the Universal Orlando Resort?
