Universal Creative posted several clips on their Instagram story. The videos featured Team Members walking through the portal of How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk. It’s our first look at the entrance process for a land and gives a sense of scale for the structures.

The videos reflect previously shared concept art. The portal is topped with a dragon-shaped medallion. When guests enter the Isle of Berk, they will be greeted by a giant Viking statue and a dragon statue in a lagoon. The rocky tower surrounded by scaffolding is Mead Hall.

Creative Project Coordinator Elliot Fuerst said guests will hear dragons roar, snore, sneeze, and drool throughout the land.

Universal previously shared a video featuring behind-the-scenes footage of Epic Universe construction but deleted it soon after.

Universal announced details and released art for the Isle of Berk, including a concept trailer, last month. Other “How to Train Your Dragon” attractions are Fyre Drill and Viking Training Camp.

The other lands of Epic Universe are Celestial Park, Super Nintendo World, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, and Dark Universe. The new park is scheduled to open in 2025.
