Pink construction walls surround the small play area. The Lorax’s tall purple house is visible over the walls. Its design is straight out of Dr. Seuss’ 1971 book.

The colorful Truffula Trees also peek out over the construction walls. The Lorax’s house and the trees are next to the Caro-Seuss-el entrance.

In “The Lorax,” the titular character aims to protect the Truffula Trees from the Once-ler, who chops down trees to make Thneeds.

The signs on the walls read, “Please pardon our dust. Park enhancement is in progress.” The work is likely a basic refurbishment including repainting.

There are tarps around the flowerbeds at one end of the play area. Below is what the Lorax’s house and surrounding area usually look like (with holiday decorations).
