LA Pride Night is an after-hours event that is returning to Universal Studios Hollywood for the 5th time in 2023.

From the event website:

Our epic after-hours party is back at Universal Studios Hollywood

LA Pride has teamed up once again with Universal Studios Hollywood to bring Southern California our 5th Annual exclusive after-hours Pride theme park experience!  This event has SOLD OUT in the past.  Don’t miss your chance this year!

How does it work?

With your PRIDE IS UNIVERSAL ticket, begin entering Universal Studios Hollywood at 4PM with a General Admission ticket, or at 2pm with a VIP ticket, and enjoy the park with the regular guests during public operating hours. But then, the park closes to the public at 9PM, and you get to stay for the Pride-only after-hours experience where all Rides* and Attractions* REMAIN OPEN just for us!

But wait, there’s more!   Not one, but two DJ’s will be spinning tracks throughout the park in addition to our Main Stage entertainment in Universal Plaza! The retail stores, select restaurants, and cash bars will be open and ready to serve you. And 14 of your favorite characters will be available for photo ops. Musical guests and other surprises to be announced.

PRIDE IS UNIVERSAL clearly has something for everyone! Families will love the 4PM entry time that still affords you an after-hours experience without having to stay out past midnight. Want the VIP treatment with even earlier access to the park at 2PM?  Then hurry and get a VIP Ticket for “Universal Express” access to all rides and shows, access to the LA Pride VIP Lounge, and premium viewing areas at the Main Stage in Uni Plaza!

This exclusive event is open to all ages, but ID is required for guests 21 and older for cash bar access.

A limited number of tickets are now available for $114, ($15 less than general admission) but not for long. Get yours now, before rates go up!

Did you know: Pride is Universal is actually a fundraiser for Christopher Street West (CSW). We’re the nonprofit organization that produces the LA Pride Parade & Festival, and other LA Pride Night events. A portion of your ticket purchase goes to the community programs we produce, sponsor or support all year long. Thank you for sustaining CSW for the past 53 years!

*Rides, attractions, shows, and entertainment offerings are subject to change without notice.  Select attractions may close before the Event concludes to comply with mandated sound and maintenance ordinances.

Pride Month

Pride Month is celebrated worldwide every June, honoring the anniversary of the Stonewall riots — although Florida saves some celebrations for the cooler fall months.

While LA Pride Night has become a staple on the West Coast, Universal Orlando Resort honors Pride Month every year with the “Love is Universal” collection. 10% of proceeds from last year’s collection went to the National Pulse Memorial & Museum. This merchandise is expected to also be released at Universal Studios Hollywood.

While Walt Disney World Resort is still facing backlash from denouncing Florida’s Parental Rights in Education bill (a.k.a. the “Don’t Say Gay” bill), Universal Orlando Resort never publicly acknowledged the bill. During Pride Month 2022, a former Universal Orlando Resort Team Member spoke out about how the company had failed to support its LGBTQIA+ employees.
