The awning that previously adorned the exterior of Studio Styles at Universal Studios Florida has been removed.

There appears to be a buildup of dirt and residue on the wall of each side of the entryway that left a square shape where the awning one rested. It is unclear at this time if a new awning will be installed.

At this time it is unclear as to why the awning was removed from the building’s exterior, but it is likely for the construction of a façade for the Jurassic Park Tribute Store.

You may recall the awning was covered by the marquee for this year’s Mardi Gras Tribute Store. The façade was installed just in time for Studio Styles to serve as the entrance to the 2023 Mardi Gras Tribute Store (check out our photo and video tour here!). Recently, an Easter egg was added to the window of Studio Styles in order to tease the upcoming Jurassic Park 30th anniversary Tribute Store. Before it opened its doors as the Tribute Store, Studio Styles was home to the UOAP lounge which can now be found in the former Betty Boop store.
