New merchandise has been uncloaked across Universal Orlando Resort shops, featuring the many sweets and treats of the Harry Potter franchise. This new Harry Potter Sweets and Treats haul offers an array of merchandise sure to leave any Harry Potter fan with a watering mouth.
Chocolate Frog Crossbody Bag – $70.00
This Chocolate Frog Crossbody Bag was spotted at the Tribute Store and features an ornate pentagonal design identical to the sweet treat first seen when Harry meets his future best pals in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. In keeping with its inspiration, this Chocolate Frog Crossbody is purple with gold lettering and details, including a golden zipper that wraps around five of the bag’s six sides.
A matching purple strap is affixed with gold latches on either side and a gold keychain holds a replica chocolate frog on the side of this Harry Potter bag. While we didn’t find any Famous Witches and Wizards Cards tucked inside, this crossbody bag does feature a golden interior lined with white stars.
Honeydukes Sweet Shop Mini Backpack – $82.00
Close by the Chocolate Frog Crossbody, this Honeydukes Sweet Shop Mini Backpack also caught our eye at the Tribute Store. This Harry Potter-inspired Mini Backpack features the Honeydukes Sweet Shop logo embroidered in a diamond shape at its white leather center, surrounded by screen-printed logos of the shop’s most famous candy treats.
Logos for Exploding Bonbons, Chocolate Frogs, Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans, Pumpkin Juice, and the Honeydukes Shop, itself, repeat as a 360-degree pattern, separated by the bright pink opening for the bag’s front pocket. A candy swirl keychain dangles on the pocket’s zipper. The Honeydukes Sweet Shop Mini Backpack also features pink straps and a pink handle.
This Mini Backpack might pair perfectly with a ‘Harry Potter’ Honeydukes Loungefly Wallet we spotted earlier this year.
Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans Keychain – $13.00
This Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans Keychain features the logo artwork featured on the candy’s packaging throughout the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The cutout shape features the vintage-looking character featured on the side of the box surrounded by a border of jelly beans, vintage font, and a victorian-era frame. Suspended between the Bertie Botts cutout and its gold key loop, a bundle of Every Flavour Beans, realistic in both design and size.
Chocolate Frog Keychain – $20.00
A Chocolate Frog Keychain has also hopped onto shelves across Universal Orlando Resort shops. This locket-style keychain features a purple Chocolate Frog hexagonal packaging design and golden lettering and details to match its Harry Potter inspiration. The keychain opens up to reveal a full-sized chocolate frog replica and a blue and gold ornate base that is sure to be a Famous Witches and Wizards Trading Card, if only we could remove it to find out who it is!
Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes T-Shirt – $35.00
This Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes T-Shirt honors the joke shop founded by Fred and George Weasley. A diamond-shaped Weasley & Weasley company logo, in purple, blue, orange, and green, makes for a simple design on the tee’s chest. The back of this shirt is a bit more chaotic, featuring the many gag products that the Weasley Twins were famous for. Puking Pastilles are featured in the top center, advertising to Wizarding World students the chance to make themselves sick to dodge lessons. Right below, the Skiving Snackbox that offered the Puking Pastilles and other concoctions is shown.
These designs are surrounded by a circular frame of nearly a dozen other whacky Weasley inventions. “A RANGE OF SWEETS TO MAKE YOU ILL!!!” is the tagline proudly displayed on the bottom of this brightly screen-printed, slightly chaotic Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes t-shirt.
This new Harry Potter Sweets and Treats haul offers an array of merchandise sure to leave any Harry Potter fan with a watering mouth.
