PHOTO REPORT: Universal Orlando Resort 7/12/22 (Halloween Horror Nights Prep, Shrek Banners in KidZone, Wizarding World Pressed Penny Album, and More)
Greetings from a very busy day here at the Universal Orlando Resort. It’s another extremely hot day, but that didn’t stop the crowds. Let’s get going and see what’s happening around the parks today.
A new pressed penny book is available. The Wizarding World pressed penny album comes with a penny and features Hogwarts on the front. Take a look at the Wizarding World pressed pennies available at Universal Orlando in our post here.
Spooky time is getting closer! Halloween Horror Nights prep continues around the park. We can’t wait for more! Get more details and see all the latest HHN prep in our post here.
Speaking of Halloween, another newspaper clipping is on the table at the exit of the Tribute Store.
There’s no chance for Revenge of the Mummy today. The exit is still blocked off by props for the Monsters Tribute Store.
The new Shrek and Donkey meet and greet looks like it’s almost ready to open. We can see Shrek banners over the construction walls now.
It’s busier today than it has been the last few days, but not too bad.
We got in line for the Hogwarts Express and heard an announcement the train was operating at a limited capacity. They weren’t loading both trains, so the line grew very quickly! We’re glad we got in line early.
It’s a beautiful day, and it feels busy, but wait times aren’t too bad. VelociCoaster was around 55 minutes.
Nemo is missing! The Nemo character falling from the bed is missing. There’s been a lot of refurb taking place around Toon Lagoon lately.
The crowds just seemed to be pouring in for the afternoon. We got caught up in the crowds in Marvel, which feels more crowded now due to the recent addition of construction walls across from the Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man.
Time for lunch at Cowfish. We’re digging into a High Class Hillbilly, so we’ll see you next time. Thanks for joining us around the parks and stay tuned for more updates!
