PHOTO REPORT: Universal Orlando Resort 6/14/22 (Universal’s Great Movie Escape Sign Installed, The Williams of Hollywood Prop Shop Closing Permanently, Universal Studios Singapore Hello Kitty and Gudetama Merchandise, and More)

Welcome to another fantastic day here at the Universal Orlando Resort. As we made our way through CityWalk this morning, something caught our attention. The sign has been installed for the new escape rooms!

Universal’s Great Movie Escape will be opening later this year, and the sign looks great. You can take a closer look at the sign here and get more details on the escape rooms here.

We got some heartbreaking news today. Our beloved Williams of Hollywood Prop Shop will be closing permanently on June 26. A lot of changes have been happening around this park and we’re sad to see this store leave.

SpongeBob is always popular with guests. The line to meet him was pretty long.

It’s incredibly hot today, so everyone is trying to stay in the shade. At there are a lot of spots to hide in Diagon Alley.

There were very long lines at Ollivanders for both the shop and the interactive experience. If you’re looking for a new wand, check out the new 2022 Harry Potter Collector’s Edition Wand.

The walls have been taken down from around Central Park Crepes, but it wasn’t open yet. As soon as it does reopen, we’re getting a Pork Carnitas Crepe!

This Passholder tank is on sale in the UOAP Lounge. The shirt is discounted 30%, but then you get your discount on top of it.

Universal Studios Singapore merchandise has started to arrive at the Hello Kitty Shop. There are plush, shirts, headbands, and more.

There’s tons of Gudetama items. These are so cute. Be sure to check out our post with more merchandise and prices.

This headband is absolutely adorable. You can wear the cute little lazy egg on your head with this headband from Universal Studios Singapore.

The Universal Studios Singapore Hello Kitty merchandise is really unique, too.

We keep finding new merchandise, and now we’ve found a Gringotts Bank bank. This is the safest way to store your money at home. Take a closer look in our post here.

This DreamWorks Destination sign has seen better days. Poor Po.

It feels like really low crowds today, but that’s just because everyone is trying to stay out of the sun. At least the pathways are clear through Hogsmeade.

The wait time for Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure was 120 minute, but it really didn’t look like that long of a wait.

It’s always a good sign when VelociCoaster has a low wait time. When we passed by this afternoon, the wait time was only 45 minutes.

Jurassic Park River Adventure had a 70 minute wait. It’s an extremely hot day, so everything is looking for a way to cool down.

Life finds a way. The Discovery Center always draws in a lot of people. Where else can you watch a baby raptor hatch?

Only a 65 minute wait for Skull Island: Reign of Kong. At least most of the queue is indoors.

Thanks for joining us around the parks today. It’s been a busy day, so we’re gonna get out of here. We’ll be back again soon, so make sure you’re following Universal Parks News Today for more updates!
