The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen at Universal CityWalk Orlando has rolled out a new seasonal shake for Mardi Gras. The Rhythm & Shake specialty shake sounds delicious, so let’s make our way over to the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and check it out. Feet don’t fail me now!

Mardi Gras Rhythm & Shake – $16

Ube Ice Cream with Nutella, Mardi Gras sprinkles, saxophone sugar cookie, and whipped topping.

This shake is gorgeous. From the bright purple Ube ice cream to the shimmering saxophone cookie, this shake will have people stopping to stare. Every shake from Toothsome is carefully constructed and this one is no different.

The outside of the jar is covered in out-of-this-world sprinkles and chocolate. This year’s Mardi Gras theme is “Party Out Of This World” and is captured perfectly with these galactic sprinkles. Stars and moon rock candy are mixed in with the sprinkles and add a little bit of flair to the cup.

The combination of green whipped cream, gold cookie, and purple ice cream is perfect for Mardi Gras!

This shake has to be one of the best shakes we’ve ever tried. We loved the Ube Ice Cream at the Fusion: Machine Planet booth in the park, but we were blown away by this shake. The shake base is creamy and delightful, with a slightly malty taste. The Nutella brings out a lot of the flavor and pairs perfectly. We’re still dreaming about this shake. Luckily, we have plenty of time to enjoy this shake before Mardi Gras ends on April 24.

The sugar cookie saxophone was a nice decorative addition, but we really didn’t care for it. The texture and flavor were slightly off-putting, but we can overlook that, thanks to the delicious Ube Ice Cream and Nutella.

There’s tons of great things to try for Mardi Gras this year, but make sure this shake is on your list. The Rhythm & Shake Mardi Gras shake from the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium is an absolute must-have if you’re visiting Universal Orlando anytime soon.
