The new vehicles also denote their electric power on the front, with “Green is Universal” written on both sides. Team Members at Universal Studios Hollywood say these vehicles have been soft-tested off and on since the COVID-19 closure ended last spring, and the four electric trams are now officially part of the 20-vehicle fleet of Studio Tour trams.

  1. Been on the new electric trams now quite a few times and they are definitely much better than the old ones due to not having engine noise. Makes for a much better experience on the tram not hearing the constant reving of the motor.
