Universal theme parks around the world have won multiple Thea Awards from the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) and a Brass Ring Award from the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), as announced at the IAAPA Expo.

Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan will be awarded the Thea Award for Theme Park Land. The AR technology of the Mario Kart ride within Super Nintendo World will get the Thea Award for Technical Innovation.

The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash! in Universal Studios Hollywood will get the Thea Award for Outstanding Attraction.

Finally, “The Crystal Promise” at Universal Studios Japan has won the IAAPA Brass Ring Award for Most Creative Christmas Show.
