Welcome to a very cloudy day at the Universal Orlando Resort. Those dark clouds in the sky didn’t stop us from checking out what’s new around the parks. We started our day at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, where a very festive surprise was waiting for us.
Christmas decorations have begun appearing around Hogsmeade!
Wreaths and garland decorations can be found hanging outside of the shops.
The outside of Hogsmeade Station is decorated as well.
The festive Butterbeer cart is definitely our favorite part of the holiday decorations.
We then headed down the path to check out what’s happening in Jurassic Park.
Two of the Jurassic World VelociCoaster lithographs have been restocked!
The River Adventure and the Mosasaurus lithographs can be found in Jurassic Outfitters. We can finally add them to our collection!
VelociCoaster was at a 35 minute wait time; we better hop in line before the rain comes.
In case you didn’t know, there are more than just rides and shops in Jurassic Park.
There is also a rock climbing wall just outside of Camp Jurassic!
For just $10 you can challenge yourself to scale the wall and ring the bell at the top.
Continuing our way through the park, we noticed that The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man was only a 5 minute wait.
The ride queue was totally empty!
The rain caught up to us while exploring Marvel Super Hero Island.
Outside, crowds were definitely prepared for the rain.Â
A beautiful cloudy sky can be seen above park rides.
After the rain settled, we headed into Universal Studios Florida to check on the crowds.
A crowd stands and watches in awe as the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit launches into the first drop.
The streets were fairly empty around the park.
Another rock climbing wall can be found by Revenge of the Mummy.
We ended our day watching wizards and witches practice magic in Diagon Alley.
See you next time! Make sure you stay tuned to Universal Parks News Today for all the latest updates.
