We think this would be another confusing house if you’re not familiar with HHN. Fans will probably appreciate all the references, but they’re lost on the average guest or someone new to HHN. There are still some good scares here, though. We just didn’t enjoy this house as much as the others.
Behind the scenes fun facts from the official Production Die-ries:
- References to past Carey, Ohio houses can be found inside the house, including the Wynadot Estate, Meats Meetz, the old Skoolhouse, H.R. Bloodengutz, Hellgate Prison, and more.
- The nutcrackers and Santa were purchased for Krampus from HHN 26.
- All the dead trees are real trees collected by Universal Orlando’s landscaping team and given to the HHN decor team.
