REVIEW: Revenge of the Tooth Fairy Haunted House at Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights 30

Halloween Horror Nights 30 is underway! One of the returning houses from last year’s daytime haunted house offerings is Revenge of the Tooth Fairy.

“The innocent traditions of the tooth fairy hide a darker ritual. It’s an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.” Tooth Fairies visit children who try to keep their teeth, armed with pliers, forceps, and other nefarious tools. The house follows the tale of James Westhorne, a child who refuses to give his teeth to the Tooth Fairies and pays the price.

We enjoyed this house last year, but it was even better this year with more Scareactors. The story is engaging, and the sets are beautiful.

The Tooth Fairies are terrifying. There are some good scares in this house, and overall, it has a strong creepy energy.

We enjoyed how the story was told throughout the house (read the whole story here). It was a cool visual experience, with Edwardian storybook accents throughout for a spooky yet steampunk vibe.

Behind the scenes fun facts from the official Production Die-ries:

  • Some of the decor of the Westhorne Manor was borrowed from the annual Mardi Gras event since the HHN prop team didn’t have a lot of “fancy” items.
  • The grandfather clock has been used nearly every year since 1991.
  • The peacock statue is from HHN 11.
