There are two side-by-side food booths themed to Carnival of Carnage at Halloween Horror Nights 30, and we stopped by the Carnival Courtyard to try some deep-fried treats.
The booths are on the streets of New York, facing Battery Park. The left booth is Jack’s Place, and the right booth is Carnival Courtyard.

*NEW* No “Chance” in Hell PB&J – $6.99
fried peanut butter and grape jelly sandwich with a hot honey drizzle
This was one of the best things we’ve had so far at HHN. Who knew? The peanut butter and jelly inside is just perfectly warm and gooey.
The fried outside offers a nice crispy crunch, but the sandwich still maintains the softness of the interior bread. We could hear the toasty “crunch” as we split into it. There’s not too much hot honey, but red pepper flakes are sprinkled on the top. If you get a bite where those hit your tongue, you’ll get some heat, but overall, it wasn’t spicy.
Add this to the list of must-try dishes at HHN. The price isn’t too bad since you are getting a unique, delicious food item, but it’s still $6.99 for 1 Uncrustables. We’d pay that any day; that’s how crazy we are (about this PB&J).
Dr. Pinetti’s Confetti Battered Oreos – $6.99
cookies hand-dipped in confetti cake batter, fried and dusted with powdered sugar
We’ve never met a deep friend Oreo we didn’t like. These weren’t the best we’ve ever had, but they were still excellent.
The confetti batter was a nice touch, though, and you can see the colorful confetti pieces around the Oreo. They come dusted with powder sugar and are soft and delicious.
The serving comes with four, which is perfect for sharing! This is a great value for the price. We only wish it had a side of chocolate sauce for dipping or a drizzle of chocolate sauce across the top.
Tiny’s Twinkies – $5.99
deep-fried, cream-filled snack cakes dusted with powdered sugar
You get one Twinkie, and it’s pretty basic, just fried and dusted with sugar. We love fried Twinkies, but this didn’t impress us as much as the PBJ and Oreos.
We recommend all of these snacks, but PBJ is the must-have if you have to choose just one.

My husband is obsessed with the “no chance in hell PB&J”. He won’t stop asking me to buy uncrustables to try and make it at home 😂
