President Biden to Ease International Travel Restrictions Starting in November

According to AP News, President Joe Biden’s administration will be easing restrictions on travel into the U.S. starting in November.

All foreign travelers flying into the country will need to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 before boarding as well as proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within three days of the flight. Testing rules for unvaccinated American citizens will also be tightened. They will need to be tested within a day before their return to the country as well as after they arrive home. Fully vaccinated travelers will not be required to quarantine.

White House COVID-19 coordinator Jeff Zients said, “This is based on individuals rather than a country-based approach, so it’s a stronger system.”

The CDC will require airlines to collect contact information from international travelers in order to facilitate contact tracing. The CDC will also be deciding which vaccines will be accepted for international travelers.

  1. Do y’all know what the deal is with space 220 reservations? I’ve been trying every hour and it’s always said they are unavailable.
