Jimmy Buffett once sang, “I don’t know where I’m gonna go when the volcano blows.” Thankfully, we knew exactly where to go: to Universal CityWalk Orlando to try the new Volcano Burger at Margaritaville for Passholder Appreciation Days!

Volcano Burger — $16.95

All-beef patty, volcano chili, cheese sauce, pickled jalapeño, pico de gallo, guacamole, lettuce mix and blue corn tortillas and served on brioche with a side of fries

This was a beautiful burger with a plentiful amount of toppings. The beef patty was perfectly cooked to order and had an excellent flavor.

As expected, the chili was the standout here. It had a nice, slightly spicy taste. The jalapeños weren’t too hot, adding just the right amount of heat to the dish.

The guacamole and pico de gallo were excellent, and tasted very fresh. The tortilla chips rounded out the toppings to give it a really satisfying crunch. Even the bun was fresh.

The chili was our favorite part of the burger. We’ve had bad experiences at Margaritaville before and have avoided it since. Because of that, we came in with low expectations, but this was great. It’s a burger worth coming back for.

The plate is garnished with a whole pickled jalapeño, which wasn’t overwhelmingly hot and complimented the burger well.
