With Passholder Appreciation in full swing at Universal Orlando Resort, Voodoo Doughnut joins the party with their AP Doughnut.

The AP Doughnut – $3.95

Yeast ring doughnut dipped in vanilla frosting and lemon powder
with a strawberry icing drizzle.

Comparing this to Voodoo Doughnuts’ other fantastical treats, it is not that impressive. It really looked uninspired and basic. No filling, vanilla frosted raised donut with strawberry icing and lemon sugar.

It didn’t look that appealing at first glance, but the ring was soft and fresh.

The strawberry icing is the thing that stands out the most, but once you get a little bit of that lemon powder, you get a very tart, almost sour, shock of flavor.

Again, less is more, and the flavors worked well together. Although this is not a flashy looking doughnut by any stretch of the imagination, it is definitely a delicious treat and a great addition to the AP Appreciation line up, along with the AP Roll at Cowfish, that we would recommend you try.
