The spooky season is quickly approaching here at the Universal Orlando Resort, and we’re ready for it. Halloween Horror Nights is just days away now and the park is bustling with Team Members and management making final preparations. Let’s head over to Universal Studios Florida and check out all the happenings.
More menus have popped up around the food tents throughout the park. Twisted Taters are a must.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre tent is sure to be popular. Who could resist a Leatherface Cherry Pie? These themed food and beverage offerings sound amazing and we can’t wait to try them.
Lucky for us, the food trucks have opened early and are serving up arepas and chicken sandwiches. We tried all three of the chicken sandwiches, so be sure to check out our full review here. There is so much food to try this season, but we have a feeling we’ll be returning for these delicious sandwiches again soon.
It looks like we’ve got some spooky lighting around here!
Walls just outside of Diagon Alley are getting prepped for a fresh coat of paint.
It’s really humid today, and the parks are really quiet this afternoon.
The Film Vault has even more new “JAWS” and “Back to the Future” shirts.
Islands of Adventure is also very quiet today. The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man only had a 15 minute wait when we passed by.
We found construction walls up around the Caro-Seuss-el in Seuss Landing. The attraction is closed for refurbishment, but no official reopening date has been announced.
Jurassic Park also has construction walls up now at the entrance to Camp Jurassic. This should be a short refurbishment, thankfully.
VelociCoaster was posted at a 35 minute wait, but the line looked much shorter.
The nursery has been very popular since reopening at the Jurassic Park Discovery Center. Watching the raptor eggs hatch is fun, but listening to the kids name them is even better. This new baby raptor was named “Cheese” by an excited child.
Can you spot the “Hidden Mickey” in this photo?
Thanks for joining us today around the parks. We’ll be back again real soon, so make sure you stay tuned to Universal Parks News Today for more updates!
