Recently, both the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Orange County, Florida Mayor Jerry Demings recommended masks indoors for all individuals regardless of vaccination status. As such, both Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando likely will amend their face mask policies soon.
Currently, both resorts only require unvaccinated individuals to wear masks indoors.
Mayor Jerry Demings spoke today in a press conference after declaring a local state of emergency. He urged businesses, including Disney and Universal by name, to institute policies that would require all guests and employees to wear face masks indoors. Demings expects all local theme parks “to follow the CDC recommended guidelines.”
At this time, neither Disney nor Universal have announced any changes to COVID-19 safety policies.

Expected by who?
We are going in three weeks. As long as that’s the only thing they do and they don’t go back to 6ft and close attractions I will still go. If they don’t we will fit sure cancel.
No!!!!
Huh. this is just the beginning. Wonder what things will look like in fall and winter.
Wow! Looking like it might be time to unload DVC. This is absolutely ridiculous!
No way I’m going to any park that requires vaccinated people to wear a mask.
I don’t have faith in people to do what’s recommended to prevent further spread, so expect another shutdown soon. I guess we should retire the expression “avoid it like the plague” given how little effort people put into avoiding an actual plague.
Thanks, unvaccinated. Your selfishness ruined this for everyone.
According to the CDC VACCINATED PEOPLE SPREAD THE DELTA VARRIANT AS WELL!!!
From the CDC website Infections happen in only a small proportion of people who are fully vaccinated, even with the Delta variant. However, preliminary evidence suggests that fully vaccinated people who do become infected with the Delta variant can spread the virus to others.
