Universal Orlando Resort has announced another change to their COVID-19 safety policies and will now require Team Members to wear masks indoors onstage regardless of vaccination status starting Saturday, July 31. This aligns with the recommendations from Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings and the Centers for Disease Control and Protection.
Until now, vaccinated Team Members were permitted to go maskless. Unvaccinated Team Members were asked to continue wearing masks indoors. No proof of vaccination status was required.
Unvaccinated Team Members must continue to wear masks indoors and outdoors at all locations.

I think it’s ridiculous for any mask mandates. We ALL know our risks… Don’t punish employees by making them vaccinate or wear a mask. Worried people are vaccinated. If others are not masked or not vaccinated, then that’s their life that they’re in control of. Come’on Florida!!!!….UOR!!!! Be a leader in our Free Country!!!!! #disappointed
Absolutely! I have a reservation for Sept. I have called 3 times now to get clarification on masks because we will not go if we have to wear masks. Every time I have been told yes they are forcing guests to wear masks indoors. However all reports seem to be that it is only encouraged.
So do guests have to wear masks indoors?
They are advised that they SHOULD.
