It’s Voodoo Doughnut’s anniversary at Universal CityWalk Orlando and they’re celebrating with the best way they know how—with delicious doughnuts!

Though they weren’t on display or on the shelves, the limited-time Anniversary doughnuts are shaped like cake slices and come in three flavors: Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry.

We decided on the vanilla.

Vanilla Anniversary Doughnut – $3.75

This doughnut is a creative idea to celebrate the bakeshop’s anniversary!

Instead of a traditional slice of cake, the donut is decorated as one, complete with a pretzel “candle”.

This doughnut has a cake batter filling that tastes just like “Funfetti” cake batter. The consistency may be more like a custard, but it tastes like actual batter.

There wasn’t an overwhelming amount of filling. It was just enough to give you the flavor in each bite without making it overly sweet.

The icing is very sweet and the shell was extremely fresh. The decorative icing on top was a cream cheese frosting and added an additional flavor to the mix.

The Anniversary Doughnuts will be available through May 16th. We will probably buy another one to take home before we leave—it’s just that good!
