Spring is in the air and Voodoo Doughnut at CityWalk Orlando is celebrating with two seasonal offerings. There’s a lemon cheesecake filled Spring Chick and a strawberry buttercream filled Spring Bunny. Let’s hop to it and find out if they’re worth checking out on your next visit!

Spring Chick – $3.75

This adorable Spring Chick is a yeast shell with lemon cheesecake filling. It’s dipped in and decorated with vanilla icing and sprinkles to look like a chick.

This filling is thick and and packs a very tart lemon flavor. There was plenty of lemon cheesecake filling throughout the shell, although we didn’t really pick up much of the cheesecake. If you like strong, sweet lemon desserts, this will satisfy your craving. The shell wasn’t very fresh, but the lemon filling and vanilla icing are delicious.

Spring Bunny – $3.75

This cute Spring Bunny is a yeast shell filled with a strawberry buttercream and then decorated with icing. We thought the icing had a strawberry flavor to it, too.

There is tons of strawberry buttercream filling inside this one, and it’s a lot creamier than the lemon cheesecake. This was a little bit messy, but we loved every bite. The filling reminded us of strawberry yoghurt and was just the right amount of sweetness. The doughnut shell here was a lot fresher than the Spring Chick and made this doughnut that much better. We would definitely order this one again.
