Orange County and Los Angeles County California to Move Into Orange Reopening Tier on March 31, Likely Increasing Theme Park Capacity

Orange County and Los Angeles County, California will both be moving from the red reopening tier to the orange tier as of Wednesday, March 31. With this move, theme parks are able to operate at a 25% maximum capacity instead of 15%.

Restaurants and movie theaters will also be able to increase capacity from 25% to 50%. Retail locations will have no capacity limit versus the current 50% capacity.

Disneyland and Disney California Adventure in Orange County will be reopening on April 30, and Universal Studios Hollywood in L.A. County will be reopening on April 16. Neither has indicated what their maximum capacity will be set at, but for now, only California residents will be allowed at the parks.
