Universal Studios Hollywood has announced that the Minion Cafe will be opening soon. Borrowing theming cues from Super Silly Fun Land featured in Despicable Me, the dining spot will feature the zany Minions. The colorful restaurant will offer grilled cheese sandwiches, chicken, and nachos, among other options. The opening date has not been announced, but menu items will be available à la carte during the Taste of Universal event which begins March 12.

Minion Cafe will offer outdoor seating, which is surrounded by themed elements such as Minion figures, lighting, and other items.

Bright, bold art and a neon sign add to the Minion experience regardless of where guests choose to eat.

Minion Cafe isn’t merely limited to a colorful and vibrant exterior, though, as the menu offers a variety of staple dishes along with some unique offerings, including ramen and multiple dessert options.

Classic Grilled Cheese

This melty blend of sharp cheddar and Mexican cheeses between two pieces of warm sourdough bread comes with a side of marinara for dipping and crinkle cut fries.

Meatball Parmesan Grilled Cheese

The Meatball Parmesan Grilled Cheese is the Classic Grilled Cheese with some juicy meatballs added to the mix. Crinkle cut fries and marinara dipping sauce are included.

Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese

The Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese features savory pulled pork and caramelized onions, plus a banana BBQ sauce for dipping.

Gru’s Rotisserie Chicken

The half BBQ rotisserie chicken will come with a side of crinkle cut fries and buttery corn on the cob.

El Macho Nachos With Chicken

This spicy chicken tinga is served in a tortilla bowl topped with white queso, guacamole, jalapenos, pico de gallo, sour cream, and cilantro.

Despica-Bowl Ramen

This warm noodle bowl includes roasted pork, pork broth, marinated egg, black garlic oil, green onions, and sesame seeds.

Chicken Caesar Salad

The salad features a refreshing blend of romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese, and juicy chicken breast marinated in garlic rosemary.

Desserts

Minion Cafe will have its share of sweet treats, too.

• Unicorn Cupcake: White cake with buttercream rainbow frosting
• Felonious Float: Raspberry slush beverage swirled with banana frozen yogurt, topped with whipped cream and banana candy
• Chocolate Banana Pudding: Hazelnut spread, cocoa butter, and vanilla wafer cookies
