Prost! During the Mardi Gras 2021: International Flavors of Carnaval event happening over at Universal Studios Florida, food booths from around the world have been added to the park celebrating different cuisines, so let’s head over to the Germany booth to try some beer and bratwursts!

*NEW* Vegan Bratwurst with Beer Braised Onions: Vegan bratwurst, beer braised onions, spicy mustard, French quarter baguette – $8.99
The vegan brat was our favorite item here.
The bun was soft, the onions were tender and juicy, and there was just a touch of spicy mustard to round the whole thing out.
The kettle chips were much better than the extra salty ones from the New Orleans booth.
We recommend getting this even if you’re not vegan.
*NEW* Pork Schnitzel Slider: Fried pork cutlet, spicy mustard, braised red cabbage, gruyere cheese – $5.99
This slider is huge. When you think of sliders, you wouldn’t expect such a big portion. It’s a great value for the price, even if you don’t have the tasting lanyard.
The kettle chips made for a nice side item with the giant pork schnitzel.
The schnitzel was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
We think it’s the gruyere cheese on top, although the consistency seemed more like gravy.
If you’re looking for a large, substantial dish, this is it.
*NEW* Bavarian Pretzel: Warm pretzel, spicy mustard cheese sauce – $8.49
They should replace all the pretzels in the parks with this salty, fluffy goodness.
The mustard cheese sauce had the creamy consistency of a cheese sauce but all the flavor of a spicy mustard.
We really weren’t expecting this to be as good as it was, so it was a nice surprise.
