Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls at Universal’s Islands of Adventure closed today for a refurbishment set to last about one month.
As construction begins, the Toon Lagoon sign has been blocked off with construction walls stating that “set enhancement in progress”.
Construction walls line both sides of the Toon Lagoon bridge.
Only the highest accents of the attraction can be seen above the walls.
The water on the attraction has stopped running and heavy machinery is seen as we peek over the walls.
The planned refurbishment work on the log flume ride at Toon Lagoon is already underway and will continue over the next few weeks.
It isn’t uncommon for water rides to close briefly during the winter season for a refurbishment while the weather is cooler. In fact, Popeye and Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges has just reopened following its own closure.
Slated for a return in March, Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls will reopen in time for the spring season.
