A brief fire erupted at Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges at Universal’s Islands of Adventure this morning.
We spotted the fire from across the lagoon and could hear shouting.
Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges is currently closed for refurbishment so no guests would have been in this area.
The fire sent up a plume of black smoke but was thankfully put out quickly.
Within moments, it was gone. Hopefully, nobody was injured. We’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available.
