It’s another exciting day here at the Universal Orlando Resort and we’re ready to explore the parks. We made our way over to Universal Studios Florida first to check out the Mardi Gras Tribute Store.

The Royal Street Jazz Preservation Hall facade has been set up for the Mardi Gras Tribute Store and we can’t wait to check out what’s inside!

The stage is looking festive with bead garland and banners.

Kitchen equipment has been added to many of the booths around the park, but some of them have some old signage still.

It looks like work on the fountains and platform in the lagoon might be complete now since the water levels have been raised again.

Poor Bruce the shark is in need of some repairs, so the area is barricaded off for guest safety.

Mars ice cream has disappeared from the park, but there is a huge variety of Nestle and Haagen-Dazs ice cream to choose from now.

Over at Islands of Adventure, we stopped into Green Eggs and Ham to get some tots and noticed that the plexiglass dividers have been removed again.

Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls was closed again today for technical issues. Hopefully some of these problems can be resolved when the attractions goes down for refurbishment in February.

The highlight of our day was spotting these new Jurassic World drain covers around Jurassic Park. All the little details being added around the land have us even more excited for the opening of Jurassic World VelociCoaster.

We also noticed recently that the Pizza Predattoria sign is moving again. We love watching the little dinosaurs fight over the piece of pizza.

Speaking of little dinosaurs, the new Velociraptor face masks are now available in small sizes!
