It’s a foggy, cooler morning and we’ve arrived bright and early to the Universal Orlando Resort.
We started our morning over at Universal Studios Florida and discovered a lot more preparation for the upcoming Mardi Gras season.
The Mardi Gras Tribute Store has started to take shape. The framework has gone up around the entrance, so we’re eager to see what the facade looks like when this is completed.
More booths have been set up around the park, so we’re looking forward to enjoying all the food and beverage starting February 6.
We also spotted Mardi Gras bead garland along the stage.
The smoking areas near Fear Factor Live and Transformers: The Ride – 3D are being temporarily removed due to the upcoming Mardi Gras activities.
Dividers were recently added at the registers of Starbucks.
Just stopping into the San Francisco Pastry Co. for a quick breakfast sandwich.
Time to take the Hogwarts Express out of London!
We arrived to Islands of Adventure and found another quiet morning in Hogsmeade.
A crane was dropping in some small bushes to be planted along the brown fence near the back of the Lost Continent.
Even more trees were added in front of the Discovery Center. There were also a few Team Members on the roof of the Discovery Center overlooking Jurassic World VelociCoaster.
That’s all for this visit to the Universal Orlando Resort. Thanks for joining us around the parks today. Be sure to keep following Universal Parks News Today and WDWNT for all the latest updates!
