BREAKING: Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure Reach Capacity, Will Not Reopen Later Today

Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure reached capacity around noon today. In a tweet from Universal Orlando Resort, they have stated that they do not anticipate reopening today, encouraging guests to visit another day if not already in the parks.

The parking garages have closed to additional guests, but guests staying at Universal Orlando Resort hotels may still access the parks at this time.

The two Universal Orlando Resort theme parks reached capacity several times over the past two weeks with Thanksgiving and the start of the holiday offerings.

As always, we will continue to post updates when the parks reach capacity. Guests can also call the Universal Orlando Resort Capacity Hotline at (407) 817-8317 before heading out for real-time updates on park capacity.
