BREAKING: Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure Reach Capacity Before Noon

Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure have both reached capacity once again today at 11:20 AM. Universal Orlando Resort does not anticipate that it will reopen today. The parks reached capacity yesterday, December 19, as well.

According to the Universal Orlando Resort Twitter, they expect to reopen the parks later today.

Thanksgiving and holiday offerings have lead to multiple capacity closures over the past few weeks. Keep checking WDWNT for more updates from Universal Orlando Resort.

  1. No surprise. Hubby and I just got back from there. Universal packscthem in by giving hotel guests entrance no matter the capacity. Not even sure we were counted for capacity at all. Disney Hollywood Studios was low key in many areas except the new star wars area which was jammed packed. Bottom line, I felt safer at universal although disney serms to have better control in making guests follow the rules.
