Several Universal Orlando Resort attractions will be closing for limited times in early 2021 for refurbishment. These include popular coaster Revenge of the Mummy, and the Hogwarts Express, which acts as easy transportation between Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Thankfully, the latter will only be closed for one day.
The full list of refurbishments is below.
- Revenge of the Mummy: January 4 through January 15, 2021
- Hogwarts Express: January 21, 2021
- Jurassic Park River Adventure: January 11 through January 29, 2021
- Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges: February 2 through February 19, 2021
- Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls: February 22 through March 19, 2021
Jurassic Park River Adventure, Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges, and Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls are all water rides, so it makes sense that they would be closing for their annual refurbishment in the winter months.
Fast & Furious: Supercharged recently reopened after a three-month closure. We’re glad none of these rides will be closed for that long.
