Some construction walls have come down next to Jurassic World VelociCoaster in Universal’s Islands of Adventure, fully revealing the new raptor paddock and a merchandise kiosk.

We got a glimpse of the merchandise kiosk a week ago when it rose above the construction walls.

The wooden structure and stone ramp matches the theming of the rest of Jurassic Park.

Here you’ll find plenty of Jurassic Park and Jurassic World merchandise.

Plenty of construction walls still remain while Jurassic World VelociCoaster is still under construction. A couple of workers seemed to be sprucing up this wall.

Across from Jurassic Park River Adventure (which is closing soon for refurbishment) is the raptor paddock.

We’ve been watching the construction of the paddock fencing for a few months now and they’ve remained partially visible above the walls. Trees and other fresh foliage frame the paddock.

Along the top of the paddock is electric fencing to keep the raptors inside.

Each gate of the paddock is numbered.

Some raptor babies seem to have already escaped paddock #4.

There are more new plants, as well as additional lighting, on this side of the paddock.

Further down are gates #1 and #2.

These are directly across from Jurassic World Raptor Encounter Experience. Back in August, we noticed the gates first being built. The black strip of pavement between the paddock and the Raptor Encounter suggests that velociraptors are transferred back and forth between the two.

Watch out, there’s a full-grown raptor in front of gate #2.

Jurassic World VelociCoaster will be opening in the summer of 2021 and we’ve already seen them testing ride vehicles at full-speed. Are you excited to ride this new species of roller coaster? Let us know in the comments.
