Sure, there’s the Holiday Tree Hunt at Universal Orlando Resort, but if you happen to be on the hunt for treats, look no further than the Holiday Treat Trail, where you can go from location to location trying out new and unique treats, and get a sixth treat for free, just for completing the map! Let’s take a look at how the Treat Trail works this year, plus our reviews on each item on your “to-eat” list.

Holiday Treat Trail 2020 Brochure and Pickup Locations

The Holiday Treat Trail is available from now through January 3, 2021. To participate, just pick up a Holiday Treat Trail brochure from a participating location and purchase all five (5) qualifying treats at select venues within Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Universal CityWalk, while supplies last. Present your brochure to a Team Member at time of purchase to receive a stamp on brochure. Then, present the completed brochure by January 3, 2021 at The Watering Hole in Islands of Adventure or Silver Screen Coke in Universal Studios to receive one (1) completion treat.

Spicy and sweet, it was interesting getting to taste a unique spin on Coca-Cola that isn’t available at the Freestyle machines.

Holiday Treat Trail 2020 Completion Treat

Upon completion, guests receive a free Christmas Tree Cookie (regularly valued at $2.99).

We expected a pre-packaged treat, so were delighted to find that wasn’t the case.

This was delicious frosted cookie, though our teeth were green afterwards.

While we enjoyed the cake, doughnut, and churro, unless you would already be buying the Coke and popcorn, we don’t think the treat trail is worth it. However, we would buy the Christmas Tree Cookie for $2.99 any day. With a face mask on, green teeth aren’t so bad.
