Greetings from the Universal Orlando Resort! It’s a busy Saturday, but we’re ready to take on the crowds. As we arrived at the resort, we were greeted by new signage informing guests that face coverings must be worn at all times unless actively eating or drinking while stationary and social distanced.
Yesterday, we heard the new audio spiel around the park being tested, and today it was in full force. The audio placed every 30 minutes, through the parks and even the gift shops. Signs were placed throughout CityWalk and both of the theme parks.
As we entered the park, we found Team Members out enforcing the new policy and asking guests to stop and step off to the side to eat or drink.
Making our way around the park, we spotted signs at almost every food stand notifying guests that they must be stopped to eat or drink.
Inside the Holiday Tribute Store, an Earl the Squirrel ornament is now available for $9.
A brand new shirt is available for Universal’s Holiday Experience featuring the Macy’s Balloons. We spotted this one in the Holiday Tribute Store and Universal Studios Store at the front of the park.
Fast and Furious: Supercharged has reopened. It looks like we’ll be spending the holidays with family.
The covering has been removed from Fear Factor Live sign, but there are no showings.
A bench has been placed in front of the Santa meet and greet at Universal’s Holiday Experience featuring Macy’s Balloons.
The parks were busy, but they did not reach capacity.
Over at Islands of Adventure, the crowds weren’t too bad for a Saturday.
Nest materials can be seen sticking out around the top of the roller coaster track as the osprey continues to build a nest on the Jurassic World VelociCoaster.
Plenty of signage around Islands of Adventure, too.
We spotted more tables added in Jurassic Park so guests can eat and drink socially distanced and stationary.
Some of the construction walls are down along the bypass bridge near the Jurassic World VelociCoaster construction. This pathway connects Lost Continent and Jurassic Park, but is currently not open for guests.
