BREAKING: Loews Portofino Bay Hotel Reopening on December 1; Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites Grand Opening Set for December 15

Despite a number of Universal Orlando on-site hotels still remaining closed, two locations will be added to the list of available lodging options at the resort. On December 1, Loews Portofino Bay Hotel will reopen to guests. Reservations opened up for the resort over the past weekend.

Universal Orlando Resort will also be celebrating the grand opening of another one of its newest resorts, Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites, which will open on December 15.

Currently, the resorts that remain closed include Loews Sapphire Falls Resort and Universal’s Aventura Hotel. The move is likely in anticipation of higher crowds during the holidays.

Guests can currently book reservations through the Loews website. Perks, like in similar resort hotels, include complimentary Universal Express Unlimited to skip the lines at many attractions (for guests staying at Portofino), as well as access to the parks up to one hour before they open to the public.
