Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure Reach Capacity for Third Weekend in a Row

As of 11:23 AM, Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure have reached their modified capacity for the third weekend in a row. The parking garages have closed to additional guests, but guests staying at Universal Orlando Resort hotels and guests with single day dated tickets may still access the parks at this time.

Universal Orlando Resort has even been warning guests that the parks would likely reach capacity. We expect them to once again reach capacity tomorrow, October 25, and both Saturday and Sunday of Halloween weekend.

As always, we will continue to post updates when the parks reach capacity. Guests can also call the Universal Orlando Resort Capacity Hotline at (407) 817-8317 before heading out for real-time updates on park capacity.

  1. As a passholders was so unhappy with universal today. We asked over 5 people on Tuesday and 3 today if we switched parks can we still bounced between parks in capacity is hit on the weekend. All said yes as long as they have your finger print that you were in the park during the day. We had friends from out of town that spent $400 to come for just the day and at 6 o’clock we had to separate due to Universal’s lack of organization. They closed the gates on people already in the parks all day and had a line of over 600 people complaining. No care for passholders who are your main base right now. Our friends got in and lines were 5 min for all rides. This is not capacity. The lines during the day at 150 min ok I can buy in. Will not return or renew annual pass and will stick to Disney from now on.

  2. Wow! Instant failure. They modified their capacity and it didn’t do anything so save themselves from getting sued by health inspectors *laughs in disney world*
