Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay Theme Parks Close at Capacity for Second Day in a Row Due to Labor Day Weekend Crowds

We’re on the second day of our long Labor Day weekend, and it seems the crowds have come out in full force to Universal Orlando Resort. Yesterday, the parks closed due to capacity (though we were able to still enter Universal Studios Florida) and it seems today the resort is experiencing the same heavy influx of guests.

Checking on the app, all three Universal Orlando theme parks: Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay are all once again being listed as closed due to capacity.

Currently, the traffic in the resort area is very backed up, as guests try to make their way to the parking garage.

A sign at the parking booth also alerts guests that the theme parks are at capacity.
