Starting today, August 18, Universal Orlando Resort will move to a date-based pricing model for its theme park tickets, with varying prices for tickets based on the first date of use, similar to the model used at Walt Disney World. Under this model, busier times of the year are priced at a premium, and guests must choose dates when purchasing their tickets. Tickets are non-refundable, but can be modified to a date of equal or lesser price at no fee, or moved to a higher-priced date by simply paying the difference.

Here’s a look at a 2-Park – 2-Day Ticket for Florida Residents under the new date-based pricing model:

The 2-Park 2-Day Park-to-Park Florida Resident Ticket Dated entitles one (1) guest admission to BOTH Universal Studios Florida, AND Universal’s Islands of Adventure theme parks on the same day. Ticket is valid for any two (2) calendar days during a five (5) consecutive calendar day period which commences on and includes the date selected, with no blockout dates. This ticket also includes five (5) days of admission to select live entertainment venues of Universal CityWalk which commences on and includes the date selected. Guest must present proof of Florida residency at time of purchase, pick-up and redemption. The ticket will expire in full on the expiration date printed on ticket. Unused days shall be forfeited.
