It’s that time of year again! Halloween Horror Nights fans have been flocking to Universal Studios Florida lately to get a tiny taste of the event by way of merchandise and a walk through the elaborate Tribute Store with multiple rooms. Now, fans have yet another way to actually taste HHN this year, with the addition of themed food in the 3rd room of the Tribute Store. We snagged one of the Bacon, Cheddar, and Scallion Waffle Sticks and had to find out if it would help mend our broken hearts after the cancellation of this year’s event.

This is a perfectly portable snack, which is necessary since they ask that you take the food outside of the store to enjoy. It’s served hot and fresh on a stick for $7.99.

This Waffle Stick also comes with a side of jalapeño maple syrup for dipping. We can’t wait to dig in!

The waffle is really good, but the jalapeño syrup is what steals the shows. We really didn’t pick up a lot of the cheddar and bacon flavors in the waffle alone, but it’s fresh and fluffy. You can’t beat that. The jalapeño flavor is detectable in the syrup, but the sweetness cuts a lot of the heat of the jalapeño. It has a rich, nice little pop of flavor that we really enjoyed.

Once we started snacking on this one, we found it hard to stop.

If you’re looking to satisfy your sweet and savory cravings for Halloween Horror Nights this year, this Waffle Stick treat will do the trick.
