PHOTOS: Additional Piece of Coaster Track Installed, Towering New Walls, and More Updates from “Velocicoaster” in Jurassic Park at Universal’s Islands of Adventure

Construction on the new coaster in Jurassic Park at Universal’s Islands of Adventure has been moving quickly, so it never takes long for us to see big changes. We’ve been patiently waiting for the last bit of coaster track to be installed that would connect both “ends” of the track along the back of the large show building, and we’re happy to report it has recently been added.

The last section of track that has recently been installed looks a little more calm than other sections of this coaster.

The metal framework lining the pathway near Jurassic Park River Adventure looks much different now that these light gray walls are going up.

This new structure is beginning to block our view of the track and detailed rock work, so we’ll be eager to see how this area continues to develop.

You’ll also notice that the metal frames and the walls are varying heights in some sections.

The structure and walls also connect to the building near Raptor Encounter and Pizza Predattoria.

We can’t see too much from this angle, but you can always check out some aerial photos for a better view.

We know there are some new raptors lurking deep within this construction, and for a closer look at their arrival, check out our video below. It can only be a matter of time before the Universal Orlando Resort makes an official announcement. Let us know in the comments if you’re excited for this new addition to Universal’s Islands of Adventure!
