What is a Virtual Race?
The virtual race opportunity allows runners to participate in the event remotely, anywhere in the U.S. Runners track their own times and completion is based on the honor system. The Running Universal featuring DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls Virtual 5K, 10K and 1K Race is open to participants in the United States only.

How To Participate in the Trolls Virtual 5K, 10K or 1K
- Sign up as a virtual runner on our registration page.
- Tune in and listen to the Running Universal Spotify playlist as you train and complete your race.
- Show off your accomplishment by sharing photos on social media with our handle @unistudios and use the hashtag #RunningUniversal and search “RunningUniversal” on GIPHY for some brand-new Trolls Virtual Race stickers, perfect for those Instagram sotires – this step is optional, but you should be proud!
- This is not an officially timed race. Runners track their own times and completion is based on the honor system.

The cost of shipping is included in the registration fees. Race packets containing the above items will be mailed out starting July 2020. We cannot ship outside of the U.S. Participants are responsible for providing the correct shipping address during online registration. Please note that your race packet cannot be shipped to a PO Box or APO Box, and after 3 attempts to deliver your race packet to the address provided, no additional attempts will be made. All attempts to deliver race packets for this event will conclude at the end of the calendar year.

Virtual race registrations are non-refundable, non-deferrable and non-transferable. Dates, times, prices and inclusions subject to change without notice. All races are subject to capacity limits and may close at any time. Universal reserves the right to revoke any registration for, any race for any reason in its sole discretion with refund of any applicable registration fees being the sole remedy of any such refusal and/or revocation.
