In celebration of Universal Studios Orlando 30th anniversary, the park has been rolling out lots of nostalgic merchandise celebrating the classic attractions Universal has become known for.

Today, we’ve found more nostalgic merchandise in the form of glass cups. Back to the Future The Ride, Jaws, E.T. Adventure and Kongfrontation! each received a special glass and it’s safe to say we need to collect all of these.

Back to the Future The Ride

The front of the glass features art of Doc Brown and Marty McFly, with a digital clock at the bottom of the glass set to October 26th, 1985. In the middle of the glass is the classic Universal Studios Florida marquee.

On the back of the glass we get the date 1991, the year the attraction debuted at Universal Studios Florida, as well as text that describes the adventure the ride took you on.

E.T. Adventure

The front of the glass for E.T. Adventure features Elliot on the flying bicycle surrounded his friends, with E.T. hiding in the bike basket up front. The classic Universal Studios Florida marquee logo appears here.

Rounding the side of the glass, we have a profile shot of E.T. and his magic finger, holding up a potted plant.

The back of the glass has the opening date of 1990 printed along with a description of the ride, from getting your planetary passport to receiving a heartfelt message from a certain special alien.

Jaws

The Jaws glass features Guests on a boat that is about to get chomped on by a certain great white shark. The Universal Studios Florida logo serves as art for the side of the boat.

The back of the Jaws glass provides a perfect description of Jaws himself as a, “devastating force. Relentless. Unstoppable.” (No wonder this ride scared me as a child!) The opening ride date of 1990 is listed at the bottom.

Kongfrontation!

The Kongfrontation! glass may be my favorite out of the entire set- the art depicts Guests hanging in a cable car as helicopters fly by and you come face to face with King Kong himself.

The back of the glass tells the story of the attraction as Kong moves through New York, destroying everything in his way and even breathing in his banana breath (which is ingrained into my memory forever) all over you until you fear you may not make it out alive. The bottom opening date of 1990 is listed in bold.

We found these glasses at the Universal Studios Islands of Adventure Trading Company, and each glass is retailing for $10.00. If you’re looking to pick one (or all) of these up, we recommend grabbing one sooner rather than later as these are expected to go quick.
